DENTAL CLEANING LEADS TO SENSITIVITY & TEETH LOOSENING

Dental cleaning is a non-invasive procedure where tooth structure is not removed or compromised. The deposition of tartar causes gums and bone to recede. During cleaning, when the tartar is removed, it exposes the tooth structure that was supposed to be covered by gums, leading to sensitivity. But this sensitivity is temporary and reduces in a day or 2.

Due to continuous deposition of calculus, gums continue to recede and start causing loosening of the teeth. Tartar is a house of bacteria, provides support to the teeth, but this is unhealthy support. So if the calculus is not cleared, it will keep on spreading infection. Hence, it is necessary to get scaling done to remove the bacterial tartar. Even though it may cause tooth mobility, but will enhance and upgrade both your oral and systemic health.
